One of Pantheon's key features is the ability to create and edit ink resistors parametrically. After defining parameters in the dialog, Pantheon displays the ink resistor in a preview window before allowing placement. As changes are made to the parameters, the preview window reflects the new changes. This dynamic updating of ink resistor edits is a feature that is only offered in Pantheon. Ink resistors can be created on a wide range of layers, allowing external and internal layers to be used in the creation process. To simplify ink resistor creation, Pantheon supports ink resistor technology data, and even allows ink layers to be defined interactively. As an optional feature for WindowsR users, ink resistor reports can be displayed in Microsoft ExcelR format. When an ink resistor is forward annotated from a Mozaix schematic, Pantheon uses properties from the logical ink resistor to define the values for the physical ink resistor. When reading an existing Pantheon database (PDB) file, Pantheon identifies ink resistors new to the design. If it detects a new ink resistor, it automatically allows the ink resistor parameters to be established during placement.
