With Pantheon's design reuse capabilities, there is no need to continuously create entire designs from scratch. Circuits that are used across many designs can be converted into block geometries and shared among designs like a regular geometry, offering the first available physical hierarchy. Blocks are placed, rotated, and moved just like regular component geometries. Place blocks one or more times into a design,?or place any number of blocks within blocks to reduce repetitive edits to the absolute minimum. One edit in a block geometry?will automatically update across all blocks placed on the board. |

Connections between blocks and from block to board can be seamlessly created and routed, while the hierarchical information is maintained in real time. Coupled with matching logical hierarchy in Intercept's schematic design application, Mozaix, design changes in the main design or in the blocks can be annotated back and forth. This complete logical and physical hierarchy creates a robust design integrity that is unmatched in any other software package. |

While the structure of matched physical and logical hierarchy creates strong design integrity, the Design Rule Checks in both schematic and layout are also able to take designs to the next level by checking the design with its hierarchy in place. If a problem is found in a block that is placed many times on the board, only one correction is needed to fix all the blocks. |

In addition to block technology, Pantheon offers flexible options to reuse "flat"?portions of circuitry. Draw a "cut line" around the desired area or group selected components and nets together for Pantheon to automatically extract all circuitry so that it can be copied, rotated, moved, or exported to another design.

Copy groups or sections to a buffer or PDB file, and reuse them in other designs or the same design. As you specify sections for reuse, Pantheon allows you to clip specific design elements, such as trace segments, for an unparalleled productivity boost. |
