PANTHEON supports blind, buried, and staggered vias, allowing for smaller and less congested PCB/Hybrid/MCM designs. PANTHEON is rules-driven, supporting via rules that specify the physical layer range available for routing on a via. PANTHEON allows rules for all via types, including autovias, segmented, through-hole, two-layer, and buried vias. By associating one or more physical layers with a specified via padstack, PANTHEON allows via connections between single-layer blind pins or surface mount pins and any of the specified layers. Using these underpad rules, drop a via anywhere under a pin pad during interactive routing.
